Nominations for 2012 Academic Senate Distinguished Campus Service Award

Deadline is January 31, 2012

The Committee on Distinguished Campus Service solicits nominations for the Distinguished Campus Service Award for 2012. These awards are presented by the Chancellor to recognize exceptional effort and achievement in Campus service by a UCR faculty member.

Nominees for the award must be members of the Academic Senate and have been on campus long enough to have demonstrated sustained dedication to the Academic Senate and/or temporary administrative posts. Nominees must receive three or more nominating letters from administrators and/or faculty to be considered for this award. Each nominator should submit a complete letter which must include at least the following information:

1. A statement explaining the nominee's qualifications
2. The nominator's name and address

The committee must receive nominations no later than January 31, 2012 at 5:00 PM.

Upon receipt of three letters of nomination, the Committee on Distinguished Campus Service will request all available pertinent material from heads of departments and programs, which will be due February 24, 2012. If the nominators wish to suggest additional sources of supportive materials, they are encouraged to do so.
